- CompatibilityWOW! recommends using a DOCSIS 3.0 or 3.1 modem. DOCSIS 2.0 modems are not supported.
- Speeds Customer-owned modems may not be able to achieve WOW!'s full internet speeds.
- WOW! ULTRA customers WOW! ULTRA customers cannot use a customer-owned modem because the modem is included in the ULTRA Gateway.
- Activation You need to contact WOW! to activate your modem on their network.
- WOW! also offers the option to rent a modem or Whole-Home WiFi for a monthly fee.
